As a child of five, I can still remember. Loud noises in my house, Screaming, Banging, Hitting. I run to hide. I wondered why this was happening to me. I felt so all alone. I was not alone. Jesus came to sit beside me, to hold me in His arms. To protect my heart with His loving grace. He was with me from the start. To guide me through and show me the way, To where I am today.
As a young girl of twelve, I did not understand, the meaning of divorce, that was left in my hand. To choose between my mother and father was too difficult to comprehend. I felt so all alone. I was not alone. Jesus came to sit beside me, to hold me in His arms. To protect my heart with His loving grace. He was with me from the start, To guide me through and show me the way, to where I am today.
As a girl of sixteen, I knew my life needed more. I turned
my life over to God and He blessed me beyond my dreams. As we walk through
this life, There's one thing that can be known. Whatever trials you
must face, that you're never alone. We are not alone. Jesus comes to
sit beside us, to hold us in His arms. To protect our hearts with His
loving grace. He ws with us from the start. To guide us through and
show us the way, to where we are today.
